Your vehicle requires a tyre balance every time a tyre is fitted to a wheel. This includes when you have new tyres fitted, and if a punctured tyre has been removed for repair, then fitted back onto the wheel.
If you notice symptoms such as a shuddering steering wheel when travelling at higher speeds, uneven or rapid tyre wear, or you’ve hit a curb or pothole, your tyres may have lost a wheel weight and require a tyre balancing service.
